Transparency is one of the most important norms in journalism, and social media offers new possibilities for transparency on how the news are made, integrating the audiences and letting people get to know the person behind the byline. The study draws from a content analysis of journalists’ tweets, focusing three different – but interrelated – forms of transparency.
